The Palliative Volunteer sewing team at Lions Gate Hospital is a group of women who not only volunteer in the palliative program but have also taken on incredible sewing initiatives. These sewists create beautifully patterned gowns and pillowcases, which they donate to the North Shore Hospice and two Hospitals that support the Downtown Eastside residents.
